Employees of government or 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations may be eligible to receive loan forgiveness through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program on qualifying U.S. Department of Education student loans. Employees with federal student loans may qualify for forgiveness of their remaining balances sooner than previously anticipated because the limited PSLF waiver allows borrowers to receive credit for past periods of repayment. Visit the PSLF website to determine if you qualify.
The standardized test score (ACT, SAT, WorkKeys) requirement for Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS) eligibility is in effect for the Class of 2022. For more information about APS eligibility, visit aps.alaska.gov.
