Funding for APS, AEG, and the WWAMI program for the 2021-22 academic year
The start of the August Legislative Special Session has been delayed two weeks and is now scheduled to begin on August 16, 2021. The funding to support the Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS), Alaska Education Grant (AEG), and WWAMI will remain unresolved until it is addressed by the Legislature.
ACPE remains optimistic that this funding issue will be resolved and encourages students to submit their FAFSA (studentaid.gov), apply for scholarships, and work with their campus financial aid offices in preparation for the Fall 2021 semester.
ACPE will continue to provide updates as additional information becomes available. Sign up here to directly receive notifications, or check back on our website at acpe.alaska.gov/announcements to view the most recent information.
